Step-Up Connections

All callers must receive training on:

• empathy-focused communication

• EM/SN identification and reporting

• program logistics

We run several different calling programs, so depending on which program you serve, the logistics may be a little different. If this is the case, the program coordinator will cover these differences with you. ​In order to sign up as a caller:

1. Ensure you meet the necessary requirements to volunteer

   • In the Step-Up Connections program, you must be an active college or university student and enrolled in a health-related program, such as psychology, nursing, or public health.

2. Take the necessary trainings below

3. Navigate to the "Ready to Make Calls?" tab and complete the form
