All students will receive training on empathy-focused communication, EM/SN identification and reporting, responding to mental health safety concerns such as suicidal ideation, and data collection. 

• The empathy-focused communication training will focus on listening and supportive expression.

• The EM/SN modules will focus on the risk factors, outcomes, and reporting.

• The mental health safety component will consist of mental health distress and self-harm “red flags” and triggered screening and appropriate responses.
